Nero DiscSpeed is a great program that will allow you to find out the true functionality of any CD or DVD drive. It does not rely on what the manufacturer says but it runs multiple tests to tell you what's really going on. This will allow you to understand how to better use your drives and use your computer as a whole to maximize the functionality of it.

Nero DiscSpeed comes with a lot of tests including seek time, burst rates, quality, startup, slow down, load, and stop times. You can watch it perform each test in real time by bringing up its window. It's really interesting to watch it work and see what it's doing. The graph it displays is high quality and simple to understand.

After completing the tests it will give you full feedback about the performance of the drive it tested. This feedback will be displayed whether or not you viewed the live graphs will the testing was going on. You can save this feedback in a text file or print it out for future reference. Either way, it is handy to have and good to look at.

You can run all of the tests together, or you can choose to run each test individually at separate times. You can also run each test multiple times. Running tests more than once in a random order will give you a better idea about the true functionality of your drive as you can see the averages rather than just see a one time report. As there can be some fluctuation in any drive just viewing the results from a one time test may not be wholly accurate.

Nero DiscSpeed runs on Windows and is freeware. So you can distribute it to anyone who you think might find it useful with absolutely no strings attached!

The latest version of this software was around 2014. I do not think that there are others who are going to download this in the year of the coronavirus happening, but I will give a review. This seems like installation for CD-ROMs on whether it is in good condition to record or transfer files from the computer to the CD. I think I rather use my USB to do that instead. This sounds like an advanced version of a floppy or flash disks back then. Go to this generation and think of better software.

This is a CD DVD Speed that is used for Windows and it is also multimedia that is on a platform that is on a windows pc or desktop and it is also a great app that helps people analyze their disk speeds. This product has mediocre reviews. This is a great platform for people who want to handle the dvd and multimedia on their computer without having to worry if whether or not they are going to have a slowed down product.

I have been using one of the first Nero DiscSpeed programs for years. It has consistently and reliably produced burned CD's of music and video for me without fail. However, their more recent offerings have been lackluster due to increased competition and need of supporting certain files such as BDXL. If all you need is to burn CDs the old school way, look no further than Nero.

So I bought Nero Discspeed on my windows laptop and it works well. It gives you the speed on the disc (dvd for me) that you want to burn on. I used it to put all of my photo albums and it took me a while, but it would have been twice as bad if I had not bought Nero DiscSpeed. I would recommend it if you intent on using dvds or cds for your projects!

Nero DiscSpeed works really well for testing the speeds and benchmarking all your burnt discs. I especially like the Bit setting and drive testing functions. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market. This software really does do a great job of determining the functionality of all of your discs and is able to run multiple tests at the same time. The best part of this product is that it is completely free! I would highly suggest giving it a try if you are in the market for this type of software.

I love using Nero DiscSpeed for Windows because it's a program that makes it easy to test out what the capabilities are of various devices, including but not limited to your recorder and CD disk drive. I love that the output it provides is easy and intuitive to interpret, and that you can choose to review the results in a number of formats, including graphs or logs.
